Round Sectionals
uhmm hope this doesnt happen to any of you.?
Im a new freshman to a big high school. I play on the soccer team for JV and got pulled up for varsity. On the way back from first round in sectionals. A few thought it was funny to “initiate” me to the team and check my oil. The incident was found out and filed as sexual abuse and the varsity team was suspended for 2 games. (semi final and final of sectional so we played our JV team in the tourney and lost. Now the whole varsity team blames me for us not winning and my reputation is ruined and some ppl dont look at me the same anymore. Now w/ me prolly playing varsity full time next year, and only 3 seniors graduating leaving me with 12 jrs. what can i do to turn this around and not make me look lk the bad guy?
I am so sorry this happened to you. I don’t think there is much you can do. It is very sad.
What is even more sad is that you are blaming yourself instead of those who abused you. And it IS abuse.
